What to Post

So I've run into an interesting thing in my planning for my blog postings that WILL start next week.  Two unusual things have crossed my mind.  One is that the story that I currently have in mind can't decide how long it is.  It is part of a series I have in mind and the story can't decide if the books will be novel length, or half that length, so novella.  Another odd thing that I just thought of is if posting the story on my blog will cause any problems if I want to submit this story to a publisher.

I figure that since I'm actually going to get a story written, I might as well subject some poor editor to its prose.  If I want to improve my writing I might as well start collecting rejection letters now.  I just don't know if publishers would have problems with my story being on my blog.  Hmmm.  Things to sort out.

For all I know, the story I currently have in mind, the one I plan on submitting so I can collect rejection letters, may not be the one I post on this blog.  My spastic mind may just start writing a different story.  Who knows.

Now, I will say this about the story I currently have in mind.  I wish I could draw really well.  It has some cool visuals in my mind that I hope I can get across in writing.  I'm trying to not give too much away (never mind that at least half, if not more, of my readership already knows things about this story) so that it would kind of be like a real novel.  Actually, the truth is that the plot is still changing on me anyway.  So, I don't know how things will turn out in the end.

Well, I suppose I should stop ranting about nothing.  I'll probably post again later this week.  And consistent story updates will start next week, regardless of my concerns that I will not be able to get my ideas properly conveyed through words.  We'll see what happens.
