So, I managed to mostly stay on top of the advent calendar, but I did complete it. It really is an unceremonious mess of not fully explained, evolving plot. But I did update. Next on the writing menu will hopefully be a little more coherent.
The plan is to try to write a novel, still going at my page at a time method. Of course, that would be torture for my readers because then it would take me two weeks to post a chapter. So, I'll try to make each page a little interesting. Now comes the more difficult part, though. What to write.
I have a lot of different story ideas. I had one story in mind, but then another one popped up and so my head's a creative mess. So, I've decided to try to take a poll from my readership. I would like to know if you have any recommendations. For example, you could comment and tell me your favorite genre, character gender or age, or perhaps a genre you just can't stand. Now, I can make no promises that I'll follow your recommendations exactly, but I would like to write something my readers would like to read.
Please comment, because I'm having a hard time making up my mind, so your help would be wonderful. I would ask that you make a comment as soon as possible, though. I plan on starting the novel posts on the 18th, but I would like to use as much time as I can in order to make sure the first few posts are actually decently written.
I have a story idea in nearly every genre, so if you want me to post in your favorite genre than please recommend it and I'll do the best I can.
Hmm...I like both fantasy set in its own world and fantasy set in our world; vampires and werewolves kind of bore me lately if they're "the" fantasy element of the book. If that makes sense...unless you have a really fascinating vampire or werewolf. Uh...I like to read and write YA usually so characters anywhere between 14 and 20 are good; but I also like the added older side characters in their twenties or over. Really Alisa, just write whatever your heart most desires. Hope this was helpful.
