So, this post is going to be a little short because of time constraints.  My apologies.  I will have a better post next time.  I am very slowly writing more, but I do need to pick up the pace if I want to reach 50,000.  Anyway, on to the post.  This post I have decided to talk about a character.

His name is Trench.  He is half human, half merfolk.  His mom and dad are basically a retelling of The Little Mermaid, but the reader would only hear that story when Trench explains what happened.  His parents are dead and he pretty much lived on his own for a while.  He has fins on his forearms and shins, but he can hide them by tying them down.  It's uncomfortable, but at least he can pass off as human when he does so.  He also has to wear a hat because his hair is kind of a coral red, which is unusual for people in that area.  His eyes are green, that shade between light and dark green.  He both craves social interaction, and at the same time worries about how people would react if they were to find out what he was.  He had some bad reactions in the past.  He's a nice person, though.
