Nesia 012

*********
So long as at least one person votes, I will keep posting until the story is done.

“Thank you,” Nesia said as she accepted the box.
“You wear now, yes?” Samantha asked.
“Later,” Nesia answered.  “I have to get going now.”
“Enjoy lovely day and blue skies,” Samantha said to Nesia’s retreating back.
Nesia slowly began her trek out of the store.  She needed to head over to the Asuraeson Estate and see if she could find her phone.  Hopefully meet her fiancé, again, at the same time if possible.  Last thing she needed to do was wear some pretty gift from Mark, who she still could not identify in her head.
She paused before leaving the store, and Nesia took one last look at the ear cuffs that had been gifted to her.  She stared hard, searching for some sort of spark of memory in the glitter of the gems.  Mark must have picked these out for a reason.  There was some secret meaning buried in the design that would surely give her some sort of answer to the mystery of who she was.
Or perhaps she was trying to find meaning in nothing but a headache.  Nesia closed her eyes and leaned against the nearest wall.  She felt dizzy and tried to mentally reorient herself so she would be able to properly head for the exit instead of getting lost in a clothing rack.
In her mind, the store vanished to a slate of black.  Slowly, white lines began to etch out the floor and walls of the building.  Perfect measurements were marked down, neatly showing the exact dimensions of the store.  Then the line color changed as wire frame outlines of racks and shelves began to populate the black and white slate with a sea of green.  Bright yellow popped up, showing the exact location of security cameras and sensors.  Exact calculations started to scratch themselves out on the side as they figured the range of the cameras and the blind spots.
That was when Nesia collapsed.  She shook her head to clear her mind of the wire frame overlay that was currently covering the world.  Her head was probably going to splatter on the wall that was keeping her upright as she sat on the ground.
As the world spun and she managed to find a bottle of medication from Dr. Grainger.  She would have preferred water, but at the moment, dry swallowing was the quickest way to relief.  And there was nothing more glorious than calm nerves and a clear head.  Her head was not completely clear, but it was manageable.
Nesia pulled herself back up the wall and verified that she felt stable.  She shoved everything back in her purse, but hesitated as she checked what medication she had actually just taken.  It was not the pain killer, but the medication the doctor had given her to see if it helped with her memory.  Whatever it was, she liked it.  It may not be able to fix her memory, but it was helping her sanity.
She strode out the door as the noon lunch rush was fast approaching.  Nesia needed to get to the taxi pad quickly or she might be waiting for almost an hour.  Her next planned stop was the Estate, though she was starting to have doubts after her near unconsciousness.  Nesia was not sure if she actually had a legitimate concern, or if she was just nervous.

What should she do next?
1 – Go see the doctor instead of going to the Estate?
2 – Go and change first, and then go to the Estate?
3 – Go to the Estate proudly dressed in rich grunge?
