Sorry about missing an update. But I am back again. I hope people are still enjoying it. So, it looks like Nesia has a full day. I might make this post a little short since
I’m not feeling well, but I will do my best.

Nesia shook her head as she stared at the cat in front of her that
morphed into a van. The lime green
bottom and a purple top were just not complimentary to each other, let alone to
whoever happened to look that way. She
could not hide the amusement on her face as she put her headset on and flicked
the switch for the radio.
“Ah, you’re on!” a cheerful voice
sounded through her ear. “And how is the
dawn angel doing?”
“Ludi,” Nesia sighed, “what is this
hideous monstrosity?”
“I knew you’d like it,” Ludi said
and she could almost imagine him beaming with pride. Almost.
“What it lacks in style it makes up for with awesome.”
“Oh really?” Nesia laughed. “Then walk me through the awesome features I
get.”
“No interior seating, and a roof
access hatch.”
“Wait,” Nesia interrupted as she
opened the driver’s side door. “May I
ask why you took out even the driver’s seat?”
“Don’t worry,” Ludi assured. “I modified everything necessary so you can
drive standing up.”
Nesia eyed the gap from the floor
to the roof of the van. “Ludi, I’m not
as short as you. And remind me to haunt
you if I get killed in this contraption.”
She was up and ready early, though
Nesia promised her self that she would sleep in tomorrow. She was curious to see if she got more
clarity in her dream the longer she slept.
All she knew for sure was that the ugly cat was indeed an ugly car. Her mind wandered over to the person she had
called Ludi.
Ludi was a nickname, and eccentric
was the word that came to mind for her.
He tinkered and invented, and he never thought about the consequences
and hazards that might come with his projects.
For the life of her Nesia could not picture his face. Trying to do so only gave her a headache, but
on the bright side, remembering that much information about one person had come
easily. She hoped it was a sign of
improvement.
Before leaving her apartment for
the remodeling, Nesia had given one last search for her phone. She would have tried calling it if she even
knew her own numbered, but realized that that would do no good. It was not here. If anything, her phone might have been left
at the Asuraeson Estate.
The Estate and her phone could
wait, though. Nesia highly doubted that
they would go anywhere, and today was Tuesday.
It was obvious that she had met someone named Mark on a Tuesday at
ten. It was about the only lead she had
the held an immediate timeline.
The meeting was in a public place,
and she was pretty sure it was near her hotel.
The last thing she needed was to draw unnecessary attention to herself, though. She fished out the knitted hat and sunglasses
Doctor Grainger had given her; and with some ingenuity, Nesia cobbled together
pieces of her soon-to-be old wardrobe to give herself a look that was more
grunge than high-class. Rich grunge,
yes, but not something the proper Kate would ever be caught wearing.
Nesia called down for a taxi and
then practically ran to it when she arrived.
It was nice to be fawned over now and again, but she did not want to
waste the staffs’ time or give anyone more opportunity to investigate her
outfit. Anonymity was her goal for the
first part of the day. She already
planned to give this Mark until lunch before she headed to the estate.
“Destination?” the taxi cheerfully
chimed.
She hesitated as she tried to think
of the location. The clue shirt
brought to mind a clothing store, which hardly narrowed it down for her. There was a high end fashion store near the
hotel that all the big celebrities shopped at.
There were also two malls within ten minutes from her location: Paradise
Shopping Center and Derringer Mall.

Where should she try to find Mark?
1 – The high end store…
2 – Paradise Shopping
Center…
3 – Derringer Mall…
